Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ulysses Blazkov (ranked 413 p4p, 57 weight class) and Sasha Khadartsev (ranked 738 p4p, 97 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khadartsev throws a sloppy body shot
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Blazkov cracks the inside of Khadartsev's front leg.
Khadartsev uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Blazkov.
Blazkov has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Blazkov throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Blazkov ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Blazkov connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Khadartsev momentarily.
It looks like Sasha Khadartsev has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Blazkov is looking to slow Khadartsev down with leg kicks.
Blazkov pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Blazkov looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Khadartsev looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Blazkov lands a nice looking body shot.
Khadartsev takes a swing at Blazkov's ribcage but misses.
Khadartsev misses with a jab to the body
and Blazkov counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Ulysses Blazkov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blazkov looks to land a combination but Khadartsev avoids it well.
Khadartsev with the counter takedown but Blazkov avoids it easily.
Khadartsev blocks a jab.
Khadartsev tries to counter by closing the distance.
Blazkov with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Blazkov moves out of range of the strikes.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Blazkov, right into the meat.
Blazkov cracks Khadartsev with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Khadartsev looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Blazkov finish him?
Khadartsev is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Khadartsev tries to get into range but Blazkov steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Khadartsev! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Blazkov scores the big KO victory!
