Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nathanael Jones (ranked 7209 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Adams (ranked 4672 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Adams darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Jones is trying to escape back to his feet but Adams uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Jones really is a fat lump.
Jones is trying to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jones throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
Adams wants to stand but Jones has his arm trapped.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Adams landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Jones tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Adams presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Jones bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones works over Adams with some ground and pound from guard.
Jones is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Jones avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Adams utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Adams is trying to keep Jones in close.
Jones postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Jones not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Adams has momentary wrist control but Jones slips an elbow through the middle.
Adams really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jones advances position into side control!
Jones in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Adams is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Jones is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Jones lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Adams is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Jones with the ground and pound from mount.
Adams wants to control but Jones is having none of it.
Adams is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Jones is staying active.

Jones swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
