Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, William Williams!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Darius Henderson and Francis DeMontford.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Osborne fails to land with a series of punches.

Williams looking to score a takedown here. Osborne is defending well but Williams drives through and ends up in Osborne's guard.
Williams passes Osborne's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Williams is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Williams blocks the strikes from Osborne.

Williams seems to be looking for submissions.

Williams is working for a kimura but Osborne is defending it quite comfortably.
Williams really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Osborne. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Osborne is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Osborne throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Williams manages to pass to side control.

Osborne is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.

Williams is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Osborne to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Osborne shrugs it off.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Osborne throws a strike from the bottom but Williams uses the opportunity to take his back.
Osborne is trying to stand back up.
Osborne staying busy and making it hard for Williams to control.

Williams is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Osborne defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Osborne wants to escape the position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Williams is trying to stick to Osborne's back but Osborne is turning into Williams. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Williams's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Osborne.

Osborne seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Williams shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Osborne is trying to defend but Williams finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Osborne lands a nice short elbow.

William Williams showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Williams drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Osborne manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Williams has Osborne in his guard.

Osborne will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Williams working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Osborne doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Osborne manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Williams drags the fight down to the ground.

Williams escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Osborne gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Nathaniel Osborne has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
William Williams is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Osborne cracks Williams with a solid left hand.

William Williams comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Williams has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
