Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Haka Motu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Croc Bot!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Winston Alpacca and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Motu misses the jab.
Bot displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Motu throws out the jab.
Motu misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bot has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Motu finds it's way round the side to connect with Bot's head.
It looks like Croc Bot has been cut.
Motu takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Haka Motu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Motu moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Bot! Motu continues to tee off on Bot, landing with a left and a right! Motu connects with a right hand that leaves Bot sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Motu!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Haka Motu!
