The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Simon pushes Yong up against the cage in a clinch.
Simon has a couple of punches blocked by Yong.
Simon controlling the action here for a moment.
Yong tries to pull guard but Simon holds him up against the cage and eventually Yong drops back down to his feet.

Yong breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Simon throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Yong moves into the clinch.

Yong is fighting off a takedown attempt but Simon is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Yong to the mat. Yong regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Yong is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Simon presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Simon pulls Yong into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Simon holds on and takes a little breather.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Yong looking to improve position, pressing down on Simon's thigh with his hand. Simon seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Yong paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Yong's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Simon picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
