Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nathanael Jones (ranked 6137 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Moody (ranked 4706 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nathanael Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nate Moody!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Eddie Farnsworth and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moody closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jones to the mat! Jones manages to get full guard.
Jones pushes Moody off and scrambles back to his feet.
Moody tries to clinch but Jones is having none of it.
It looked like Jones was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Moody misses with a head kick.
Moody throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Moody tries to clinch up
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Jones really is a fat lump.
The fight stays on the outside here - Moody looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jones shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Moody is trying to defend but Jones finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Moody trying to hold on to Jones's head to control him but Jones postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones thows a huge punch but Moody dodges it nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moody is looking to control Jones's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Moody avoid being mounted?
Jones lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Jones is trying to work for a kimura but Moody is defending well.
Moody wants to get back to full guard.
Moody gets full guard.
Moody is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Moody controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Moody keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully.
Moody has Jones pulled in close to control his posture.
Jones not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Jones looking to sit in guard and control but Moody gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Jones throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Moody has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Jones to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Moody is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Jones pulls down on the head and he's put Moody to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Nathanael Jones!
