Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alen Ohanian (ranked 2789 p4p, 355 weight class) and Tim Pierno (ranked 2589 p4p, 327 weight class). Ohanian comes to the cage accompanied by The Eternals - Wrath of Zeus . Pierno has chosen Sick Puppies - You're Going Down as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Ohanian.
Pierno moves out of range as Ohanian strikes.
Pierno throws out a counter right but Ohanian avoids it with no problem.
Ohanian has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Team Beta Fail in the buildup to the fight.
Ohanian throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pierno sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Pierno has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Pierno tries to clinch up but Ohanian circles away and keeps his distance.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Ohanian.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ohanian is trying to trip Pierno. He has hold of a leg but Pierno is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Ohanian persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
