Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pasha Pedikov (ranked 4497 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jhan Jansen (ranked 3419 p4p, 385 weight class). Pasha Pedikov could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jhan Jansen's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jansen is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Pedikov to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Pedikov shrugs it off.

Jansen is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Pedikov has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Jansen gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Jansen apologises and we restart here on the feet.
