Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Finnish Experiment (ranked 940 p4p, 108 weight class) and Rap Tori (ranked 1056 p4p, 124 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tori had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Experiment defends it easily.

Tori working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Experiment doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Experiment manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Experiment seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Tori felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

After the fight, Rap Tori was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
