Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Julio Dean (ranked 6570 p4p, 546 weight class) and Samart Payakaroon (ranked 4219 p4p, 416 weight class). Dean comes to the ring accompanied by Zack Fox- Jesus Is The One (I Got Depression). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Payakaroon throws a quick inside leg kick.
Payakaroon throws a nice outside leg kick.
Payakaroon has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Dean is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Dean throws a left and a right that both miss
and Payakaroon makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Payakaroon fakes the leg kick and cracks Dean in the body.
Payakaroon buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Payakaroon moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Payakaroon connects with a high kick.
Payakaroon fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Dean has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Dean misses with an attempted mid kick.
Payakaroon now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dean chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Payakaroon can pounce on him.
Payakaroon lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Payakaroon lands a nice leg kick that just misses Dean's sensitive parts.
Payakaroon scores with a jab to the body.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Payakaroon, right into the meat.
Samart Payakaroon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dean tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Payakaroon paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Dean shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Payakaroon's guard.
Dean pushes down on Payakaroon's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Dean is working for a submission of some sort.

Dean is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Payakaroon sees it coming and defends easily.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Dean trying to mount his opponent but Payakaroon defends it.
Payakaroon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dean. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dean is trying to control. Payakaroon wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Payakaroon is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Dean seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Payakaroon is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
