Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Stacey Kent!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tony Gandim!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kent fails with the takedown.
Gandim has closed the distance and engaged Kent in a clinch.
Gandim tries for a takedown but Kent manages to get underhooks.
Kent really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Kent wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Gandim jumps guard but Kent turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Kent has Gandim pushed against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Kent - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kent is trying to break free.
Kent will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Gandim up against the cage.
Kent wants to break the clinch but can't.

Gandim drags the fight down to the ground.
Gandim wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Kent manages to pass to side control.
Kent will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Gandim is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Kent is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Gandim sees it coming and defends easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gandim is trying to escape the mount.

Gandim really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kent. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gandim tries to hold on but Kent postures up.
Gandim is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Kent is staying active.

Gandim keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

The referee warns Gandim that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Gandim tries to improve his position but Kent has taken his back! Kent has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Gandim tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Kent pushes Gandim away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
