Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ken Blanchard (ranked 3743 p4p, 413 weight class) and Freddie Money (ranked 3214 p4p, 374 weight class). Money comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Eric B. & Rakim - Paid In Full kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Freddie Money will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Money looks to land a right hand but Blanchard moved out of range.
Money's coach down at Island Sparring was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Money's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Money misses with an uppercut.
Blanchard misses the body punch
and Money counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Ken Blanchard has been cut.
Blanchard misses with a lunging right hand
and Money counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Blanchard throws a big shot that misses.
Money looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Money slips a jab from Blanchard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Blanchard seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Money rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Blanchard cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Money throws a good cross that connects.
Money works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Blanchard throws an off balance right hand
and Money counters with a nice right hand that sends Blanchard toppling to the canvas! Blanchard scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Money finish him?!
Blanchard is rocked!
Blanchard tries to get into range but Money steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Blanchard! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Money scores the big KO victory!

Freddie Money gave a mention to The Glue Factory in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
