Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chief Slayer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Danny Greene!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Daniel Cesar and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greene changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Slayer tries to avoid it but Greene manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Slayer to the ground. Slayer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Greene shoots in but Slayer avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Greene misses with a takedown attempt - Slayer sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Chief Slayer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Danny Greene.

Greene scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Greene lands a nice forearm strike.
Slayer manages to work his way to half guard, despite Greene's best efforts.
Slayer blocking the ground and pound attempt from Greene.
Slayer is pressing down on Greene's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Slayer is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Greene stands up over Slayer, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Greene lands a couple of digs.
Slayer is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Kalashnikov ELITE MMA Gym that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Greene got a little sloppy there for a moment and Slayer has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Greene has managed to get both his arms back between Slayer's legs - danger averted.
Slayer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Greene is posturing up here but Slayer has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Greene tries to roll out but it's too tight and Greene has to tap! Slick submission there by Slayer!
