Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Blitz Krieg (ranked 1925 p4p, 85 weight class) and Jimmy Nickels (ranked 1791 p4p, 21 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nickels avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nickels lands a really nice looking cross but Krieg seems unphased.
Krieg has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Brotherhood MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Krieg lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Nickels fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Krieg to the ground. Nickels is now in Krieg's guard.

Krieg really wants to buck Nickels off and get back to his feet.
Nickels takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
