Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Doctor Doolittle (ranked 2632 p4p, 318 weight class) and Grover Dowiyogo (ranked 7768 p4p, 628 weight class). Dowiyogo has chosen another life - kano as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dowiyogo misses with an attempted mid kick.

Grover Dowiyogo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Doolittle counters with a perfectly timed counter left hook that drops Dowiyogo to the mat, face first! Doolittle goes to the neutral corner and waits for the referee to start the count. Dowiyogo is back to hise feet already though and looking to continue the bout! Exciting stuff!

It looks like Grover Dowiyogo has been cut.

Doolittle connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Dowiyogo onto his butt! Dowiyogo bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action.

Dowiyogo leaves his chin hanging out and Doolittle seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Dowiyogo crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

After winning the bout, Doctor Doolittle thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
