The crowd seem to be enjoying Jones's choice of entrance music: Raining Blood - Slayer. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Barry Jones enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cricky throws a hook but Jones blocks it.
Jones throws a right hand that misses
and Cricky counters with a stiff right hand.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch but Cricky swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jones throws a body shot but no joy.
Cricky avoids the body shot from Jones.
Jones throws a predictable looking body shot
and Cricky counters with a nice body shot.
Jones connects with a looping right hand.
Cricky uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jones.
Barry Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones scores with a hook.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cricky throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Cricky throws a big shot that misses.
Cricky moves out of range of the strikes.

It looked like Cricky wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Jones is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cricky trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jones controls Cricky momentarily but Cricky frees himself.
Jones is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Jones looking for a guillotine here but Cricky defends easily.

Cricky is really struggling to control Jones but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Jones tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Jones is looking to cinch up a triangle. Cricky throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Jones's body to avoid the submission. Jones has instead reached around Cricky's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Jones arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
