Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lindsay Tucker (ranked 22614 p4p, 498 weight class) and Kenneth Wellwood (ranked 3586 p4p, 335 weight class). Wellwood comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Never Scared - Bone Crusher kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be fireworks!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kenneth Wellwood!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tucker drives through with a takedown into guard.

Wellwood is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Tucker is controlling him.

Tucker is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Wellwood still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Wellwood has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
Wellwood decides to stand back up.
Tucker shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Wellwood has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Tucker is on him like a limpet, forcing Wellwood back against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wellwood looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Wellwood tries to work over Tucker's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Tucker has clasped his hands together around Wellwood's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Tucker is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Wellwood is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Tucker thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Wellwood is trying to buck Tucker off.
Tucker has hold of Wellwood's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Wellwood seems comfortable defending it but Tucker has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Wellwood is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Wellwood is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Tucker couldn't care less - he's delighted!
