Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Funky Colemadina (ranked 3624 p4p, 187 weight class) and Saafir Nomad (ranked 4003 p4p, 201 weight class). Saafir Nomad struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 137.0lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Funky Colemadina has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nomad displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Nomad shoots in for a takedown but Colemadina shows good takedown defense.
Colemadina ducks right into an uppercut from Nomad.

Colemadina feints and as Nomad raises his hands in defense, Colemadina changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Nomad manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Colemadina pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Nomad is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Colemadina looks for a takedown but Nomad sprawls well.
Nomad tries to bum rush Colemadina with a series of wild strikes but Colemadina uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
It looked like Colemadina was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Nomad lands with a good body shot.

and Nomad counters with a series of strikes. Colemadina will be more careful next time no doubt.

Nomad tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Colemadina manages to move to mount!
Colemadina lands a big elbow.
Nomad really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Colemadina. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Nomad is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Colemadina has taken his back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nomad is trying to get back to his feet but Colemadina has full control of the position and if anything, Nomad has just worked his way into a worse spot.
