Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lemuel Robertson (ranked 24849 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wakan Daforever (ranked 23876 p4p, 0 weight class). Wakan Daforever will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daforever tries to clinch but Robertson moves away

and Robertson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Daforever keeping busy, throwing shots from the bottom.

Daforever has his foot on Robertson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Robertson works his way back into a safe position though.
Daforever trying to keep a closed guard but Robertson is proving a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Robertson sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Daforever working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Robertson.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Robertson connects with a couple of short punches.
Robertson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Daforever trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Daforever wants to sweep but no luck.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Daforever really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Robertson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Robertson drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Robertson seems to have locked his on tight now - Daforever screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Robertson, as he picks up the win!
