The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lipski lands a big uppercut and Franks crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Franks looks OK. Lipski waves Franks back to his feet!

Lipski drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Franks manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Lipski has Franks in his guard.

Franks seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Franks shoots in looking for a takedown. Lipski tries to sprawl out of it but Franks keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lipski manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Lipski has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Franks uses from the top position.

Well Lipski has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
