Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Doreen (ranked 5292 p4p, 494 weight class) and James Fletcher (ranked 24041 p4p, 594 weight class). Doreen comes into the arena with Pretty Good at Drinking Beer blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doreen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Doreen lands a nice hook to Fletcher's body. Fletcher takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Doreen throws a combination that misses
and Fletcher counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Doreen misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fletcher.
Doreen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Doreen punishes Fletcher's body with a nice straight punch.
A left and a right from Doreen both land. Nice combination.

It looks like James Fletcher has been cut.
Doreen lunges at Fletcher with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Fletcher's hand.
Fletcher takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fletcher looks to land a right hand but Doreen moved out of range.
Doreen closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Doreen throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fletcher throws a body punch but Doreen moves out of range.
Doreen throws a series of punches but Fletcher avoids them all with ease.
Doreen moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromFletcher.
Fletcher walks into a left hand.
Fletcher pulls out of a head kick attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Doreen throws a right and a left that Fletcher avoids nicely.
A telegraphed right hand from Doreen misses the target.
Doreen wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Fletcher tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Doreen moves into range and connects with a jab.
Doreen misses the shot to the body.
Doreen misses with a double jab

and Fletcher counters with a head kick that drops Doreen to the mat! Doreen scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Doreen is rocked!
Doreen throws a left and a right that both miss
and Fletcher counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Doreen has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
