The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Stepanov.

Ice is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Stepanov can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Ice got a little sloppy there for a moment and Stepanov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ice has managed to get both his arms back between Stepanov's legs - danger averted.

Stepanov has his foot on Ice's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ice works his way back into a safe position though.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ice, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
