Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Synyx Dall (ranked 1200 p4p, 160 weight class) and Starling Silva (ranked 1181 p4p, 159 weight class). Dall comes into the arena with In Scarlet Storm blaring out of the sound system. Starling Silva will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva works the jab nicely.

It looks like Synyx Dall has been cut.

Dall dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Dall takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dall is defended easily by Silva.
Dall ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

As Silva looks to move away, Dall throws a big counter combo but Silva just gets out of the way.

Dall drops back, looking for a kneebar! Silva looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Silva looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Silva!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dall stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silva swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Dall is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Silva is just riding it out for now. Dall eventually gives up the hold.
