Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Riverson (ranked 1850 p4p, 82 weight class) and Simon Udovich (ranked 884 p4p, 41 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Riverson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to J.Ralph - Kansas City Shuffle. Udovich comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Pharoahe Monch - Simon Says kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Eddie Farnsworth and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Udovich displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Riverson.
Riverson moves out of range of the strikes.
Riverson shoots in looking for a takedown but Udovich manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Riverson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Riverson shoots in for a double leg but Udovich sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Riverson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Riverson lands a head kick that stumbles Udovich and the fighters go to the mat.
Udovich is rocked!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Udovich can do anything to dispel that myth.

Riverson drops back looking for a leg! Udovich is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Udovich manages to kick Riverson off! Riverson jumps back into Udovich's guard.

Riverson drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Riverson seems to have locked his on tight now - Udovich screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Riverson, as he picks up the win!
