Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, George Allen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jean-Claude Marceau!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Allen misses.
Allen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Marceau.
Allen rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Marceau counters with a nice low kick that buckles Allen's knee momentarily.
George Allen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Allen lands an overhand right.
It looks like Jean-Claude Marceau has been cut.
Marceau scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Allen doesn't seem bothered though.
Allen getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Marceau takes a swing at Allen's ribcage but misses.
Marceau throws a leg kick but Allen checks it.
Marceau looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Marceau looks to throw the jab but Allen is out of range.

Allen throws a hook but Marceau blocks it.
Allen lands a head kick. Marceau smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Allen swings for the body but Marceau moves out of range.
Allen missing with a left hand there. Marceau was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Marceau's jab looks to have found its range, popping Allen under the eye.

An attempted straight right counter from Allen misses the target.
Allen tries a head kick but it misses.
Marceau lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Allen slips a straight right by Marceau.
Allen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Marceau lands a big uppercut and Allen crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Allen looks OK. Marceau waves Allen back to his feet!
Allen is rocked!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Allen is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Marceau doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Allen crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Allen's bad books for that mishap!
