Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bismack Kagonbo (ranked 965 p4p, 119 weight class) and Ivan Dorn (ranked 1317 p4p, 163 weight class). Kagonbo comes into the arena with Voodoo blaring out of the sound system. Dorn comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hero kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kagonbo lands with a kick to the ribs.
Dorn uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kagonbo.
Kagonbo lands with a kick to the temple. Dorn shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Ivan Dorn has been cut.
Kagonbo defending well as Dorn loads up on a big left hand.
Dorn throws a low kick but Kagonbo avoids it.
Dorn walks into a straight right hand from Kagonbo.
A combination from Kagonbo does no damage.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Kagonbo takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
It looks like Bismack Kagonbo has been cut.
Kagonbo lunges at Dorn with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Dorn's hand.
Ivan Dorn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kagonbo ducks right into an uppercut from Dorn.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dorn tries to clinch up but Kagonbo circles away and keeps his distance.
Kagonbo has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Kalashnikov ELITE MMA Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Kagonbo slips a jab and a cross from Dorn.
Dorn throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Kagonbo throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Kagonbo works the jab nicely.
Dorn throws a series of punches but Kagonbo moves out of range.
Dorn thows a leg kick but Kagonbo checks it
enabling Kagonbo to counter with a crisp jab.
Some wild striking there from Kagonbo.
Kagonbo keeps the fight on the outside.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A swing and a miss from Dorn.
Dorn misses with a low kick.
Kagonbo is looking to counter punch.
Dorn fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kagonbo was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Dorn tries to clinch there but Kagonbo circles away.
Kagonbo lands a jab.
Dorn gets a clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Kagonbo.
Kagonbo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kagonbo lands with a right hand.
Kagonbo cracks Dorn with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Kagonbo has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Dorn to stand back up!
Dorn is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dorn takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Kagonbo throws a monster overhand right that drops Dorn! Kagonbo follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bismack Kagonbo!
An out of breath Bismack Kagonbo thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
