Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Abdel Mumu (ranked 139 p4p, 20 weight class) and Raul Gracie (ranked 152 p4p, 22 weight class). Gracie has chosen Jiu Jitsu-Apaga Mas Não Bate as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
19 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Abdel Mumu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Raul Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie misses with a left hand
and Mumu connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Gracie drives through and clinches with Mumu against the cage.
Gracie jumps guard but Mumu turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Gracie is trying to pull guard but Mumu turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Gracie's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
A bit of stalling here from Gracie.
Gracie pulls guard successfully.
Gracie working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mumu doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mumu manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gracie wants to control the position but Mumu says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Mumu perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Gracie is trying to maintain the position but Mumu is very close to passing his half guard.

That's time! Mumu's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Gracie manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Mumu on his heels. He'll look to pass Mumu's guard now, I'm sure.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Mumu is looking to get to half guard.
Abdel Mumu has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Gracie thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Gracie can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Mumu is looking to escape.

Gracie is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Mumu has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Mumu!

Gracie wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Mumu is now in half guard.
Gracie slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Mumu wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving.
Gracie had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mumu defends it easily.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Mumu content to stall in guard here.

Raul Gracie showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Mumu's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
The fighters circling - Mumu throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Mumu throws a hook to the side of Gracie's head but Gracie sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Mumu throws a sloppy head kick and Gracie moves out of range easily.
A head kick misses from Mumu.
Gracie ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Gracie cracks Mumu with a right hand to the side of the head.
Gracie has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Gracie cracks Mumu with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Mumu looks to land a left hand but Gracie moved out of range nicely.
Gracie feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Mumu's calf.

Mumu throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Gracie tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Gracie doesn't manage to clinch there - Mumu circles away.
Gracie uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mumu.
Gracie ducks under a wild hook from Mumu.
Gracie shoots for a double leg takedown but Mumu sprawls well. He's pushed Gracie's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mumu throws a low kick but Gracie moves out of range easily.
Mumu connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Gracie's hands.
Gracie paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Gracie clinches with his opponent.
Still in the clinch, Gracie scores with a nice short uppercut.
Gracie is leaning against Mumu and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Mumu.
Mumu lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Mumu breaks the clinch.
Gracie takes a jab right on the kisser.
Abdel Mumu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gracie avoids the body shot from Mumu.
Gracie goes for a double leg but Mumu avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mumu continues to drive forward.
Gracie fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mumu avoids it really well and circles away.
Mumu throws a counter high kick but Gracie was just alert enough to avoid it.
Abdel Mumu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raul Gracie.

Gracie lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Gracie feints and then cracks Mumu's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mumu down.
Mumu throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Gracie changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Gracie tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Gracie closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gracie lands in his opponent's guard.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Abdel Mumu.
I think Gracie has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
