Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Reny (ranked 2991 p4p, 342 weight class) and Rob Mogweister (ranked 6242 p4p, 507 weight class). Mogweister has chosen Show me how to live, Audioslave. as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mogweister fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Reny manages to avoid it.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Reny crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Mogweister - the referee stops the clock and Reny gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Mogweister . Reny manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Mogweister lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Mogweister has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Reny has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Rob Mogweister is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Mogweister is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Reny is defending well though. Mogweister let's go of the attempt for now.
What can Reny do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Well Mogweister has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
