Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kasey Scorpion (ranked 799 p4p, 86 weight class) and DeShawn Jackson (ranked 537 p4p, 62 weight class). Scorpion comes into the arena with Jiu Jitsu blaring out of the sound system. Jackson has chosen Green Card as his entrance music. DeShawn Jackson has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kasey Scorpion's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson misses with a straight right.
Jackson lands a leg kick that knocks Scorpion off balance momentarily.
Scorpion throws a hook but Jackson avoids it easily.
Scorpion misses with a straight right.
Scorpion fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Jackson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Scorpion throws out the jab.
Scorpion scores with a crisp jab that stopped Jackson in his tracks.
Jackson scores with a spinning back kick!
Jackson moves away from the strike by Scorpion.
Scorpion shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Scorpion was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Jackson avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Scorpion.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jackson tries to improve position but can't.
A lull in the action here.
Jackson is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Scorpion off and has taken his back!
Jackson misses with an elbow to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jackson is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Scorpion knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Scorpion for a finish.
A lull in the action here.
Jackson is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Scorpion won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Jackson off his unconscious opponent!

In his post fight interview, DeShawn Jackson started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
