Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hugh Glass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lucien Lachance!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glass misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nice body kick from Glass.
Lachance throws a series of punches but Glass moves out of range.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Lachance has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Glass misses with a body shot.
Lachance appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Lachance swings for the body but Glass moves out of range.
Glass wants to land a leg kick but Lachance is out of range.

Lachance fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Glass sprawls well initially but Lachance persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Lachance uses his free foot to push down on Glass's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Glass.
Glass is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Glass's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Glass does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Glass.
Horrible takedown attempt by Lachance or perhaps it was just good defense by Glass, which made it look bad.
Glass tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Lachance manages to circle out of the way.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Hugh Glass.
