Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Steven Pittsford (ranked 2687 p4p, 284 weight class) and Christopher Fry (ranked 1949 p4p, 220 weight class). Christopher Fry has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Fry shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Pittsford napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Pittsford tries to bench press Fry off him but Fry keeps the position.

Fry closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Pittsford quickly recovers to half guard.

Christopher Fry showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Fry punishes Pittsford's body with a nice straight punch.
Fry ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Fry fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Pittsford, pushing him back against the cage.

Pittsford has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Fry uses from the top position.

Pittsford isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Fry stacks Pittsford on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Fry!

Fry has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Pittsford bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Steven Pittsford has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Pittsford stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fry swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well Fry has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
