The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A good leg kick by Fortier.
A slow jab from Kapisi misses its intended target.
Fortier connects with a solid leg kick.
Kapisi looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Kapisi throws a lazy uppercut
and Fortier counters with a stiff right hand.

Fortier sends Kapisi crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Fortier is motioning to the referee to let Kapisi up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Crunch! Fortier slams his shin into Kapisi's torso.
Fortier has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Kapisi is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Kapisi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fortier.
Fortier misses with a looping right.
Fortier throws a hook but Kapisi avoids it easily.
Fortier wobbles Kapisi with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Fortier dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Kapisi to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
