Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tim Slater (ranked 2581 p4p, 146 weight class) and Braylin Timmon (ranked 1198 p4p, 72 weight class). Tim Slater had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Tim Slater!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 3, fighting out of New York, Braylin Timmon!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slater connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Timmon's hands.
Timmon pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Timmon doesn't manage to clinch there - Slater circles away.
Slater misses with a combination
and Timmon counters with a right hand to the body.
Nice defenses there by Timmon.
Timmon circles away from the clinch attempt.

Slater looking to score a takedown here. Timmon is defending well but Slater drives through and ends up in Timmon's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Timmon wants to get back to his feet but Slater is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Timmon wants to stand but Slater has his arm trapped.

Timmon is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

Timmon has closed the distance and engaged Slater in a clinch.
Slater jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Timmon walks away with a smile on his face. Slater gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Timmon tries to clinch but Slater moves out of range.

Slater darts in and clinches Timmon up against the cage.
Timmon is pushing Slater up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Timmon creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Slater is trying to pull guard but Timmon turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Slater tries to pull guard but Timmon holds him up against the cage and eventually Slater drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tim Slater. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Slater seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Slater might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Slater has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Timmon uses from the top position.

Timmon's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Braylin Timmon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Slater is rocked!
Timmon lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Oh Slater is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Timmon has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Timmon creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Slater's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Slater drops to his knees and Timmon pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Braylin Timmon!
Braylin Timmon took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
