PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marchrius Rossi (ranked 5143 p4p, 479 weight class) and Neil Feels (ranked 4100 p4p, 418 weight class). Rossi comes to the cage accompanied by Metal Slug Theme. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marchrius Rossi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Neil Feels!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Colin Fotheringham and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rossi fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Feels looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
No joy there for Rossi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Feels tries to clinch there but Rossi circles away.
Rossi throws a leg kick that misses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Feels looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Feels tries to close the distance and clinch but Rossi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Feels fails with a takedown attempt.
Feels has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Rossi finds it's way round the side to connect with Feels's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Feels tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rossi paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Feels tries to clinch up but Rossi circles away and keeps his distance.
Rossi moves into range and connects with a jab.
Rossi will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Rossi throws a series of punches but Feels avoids them all with ease.

Rossi lands with a nice combination. Feels backs away looking to recover.
Feels tries to clinch but Rossi moves away
letting Rossi counter with a right hand.
Rossi lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Rossi stalks Feels and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Feels's face. Feels staggers backwards, shaken.
Feels tries to clinch up.
Feels tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rossi swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Rossi keeps the fight on the outside.
Feels dodges the punch combination from Rossi.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Feels doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Rossi counters with a left and a right that stings Feels.
Rossi works over Feels's head and body with a nice combination.

Feels is rocked!
Rossi lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Feels falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Marchrius Rossi!
In his post fight interview, Marchrius Rossi gave a big smile as he said 'Oh, poopy-plops! I spent way too much time on this silly enemy!'.
