The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Fitch fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Sha circles away from the clinch attempt

Sha drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sha jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Sha jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Fitch manages to avoid the submission attempt.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fitch can do anything to dispel that myth.

Sha is looking for the choke from the back position but Fitch is controlling his hands well.
Fitch should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
