Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Seu Braga and Alexandre Firmino.



The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Hamilton breaks from the clinch.

Duffy throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hamilton tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Duffy is in Hamilton's guard.
Duffy scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Duffy stops Hamilton from standing up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Duffy accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Duffy has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hamilton is proving hard to escape from.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Duffy stands up and waves to Hamilton to follow him.

Hamilton shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Duffy working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hamilton doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hamilton manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Duffy goes for a double leg but Hamilton avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hamilton continues to drive forward.

Duffy gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Hamilton has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Duffy regains guard immediately.
Duffy wants to sweep here but Hamilton controlling him for the moment.
Hamilton wants to pass the guard but Duffy is keeping the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Duffy throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

That was a close round but I would say that Emmanuel Duffy will probably get the nod.

Hamilton gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Hamilton gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Duffy regains guard.

Duffy manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Duffy shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hamilton defends it nicely.
Duffy fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
As Duffy backs off Hamilton throws a huge counter combo but Duffy manages to avoid it all.

Hamilton closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hamilton lands in his opponent's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Duffy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Hamilton is trying to control the action in half guard but Duffy is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Duffy tries to get to full guard but Hamilton has control of the leg.
Duffy is staying active underneath Hamilton, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Hamilton shoots in and gets a takedown into Duffy's guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Hamilton would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Bobbie Hamilton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Hamilton closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Duffy did well to prevent Hamilton getting side control.

Duffy tries to roll over but Hamilton keeps him under control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Duffy is working hard here to advance position.
Duffy is not content to let Hamilton control the position.

Hamilton is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Duffy is just riding it out for now. Hamilton eventually gives up the hold.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hamilton is just content to waste time from the top position. Duffy takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Duffy has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Hamilton has passed into side control.
Hamilton misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Hamilton wants to take a breather but Duffy manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Hamilton.

Duffy is working an open guard so Hamilton takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Hamilton will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Duffy shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Bobbie Hamilton comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Hamilton has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
