Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Bob McDonald (ranked 126 p4p, 15 weight class) and Kevin Shinnie (ranked 1866 p4p, 207 weight class). McDonald's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Ray Wylie Hubbard - Redneck Mother. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

With a record of 17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kevin Shinnie!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shinnie takes one on the chin but seems OK.
McDonald throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Shinnie sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Shinnie throws the kick towards the body but McDonald avoids it.
McDonald throws a big counter combination but Shinnie scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Shinnie keeps the fight on the outside.
Shinnie uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McDonald.
Shinnie appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
McDonald tries to clinch up.
Despite the aggression on Shinnie's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
McDonald just misses with a punch to the body.
Shinnie looks to score with a jab to the body but McDonald is just out of range.
McDonald was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Shinnie gets cracked with a nice right hand there by McDonald.

McDonald feints a jab promting Shinnie to slip. McDonald then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Shinnie slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Shinnie. McDonald does a little dance to reset his feet.
McDonald throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Shinnie counter with a right hand.
Shinnie's corner calls for a 1-2. Shinnie obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Shinnie throws a looping overhand right but McDonald ducks down to avoid it.
Shinnie throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
McDonald looks to land a combination but Shinnie avoids it well.
Nice straight punches there by Shinnie. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Shinnie.
McDonald throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
McDonald fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Shinnie manages to avoid it.
Shinnie ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McDonald misses with an uppercut
and Shinnie counters with a leg kick.
McDonald throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
McDonald slips under a jab.

Shinnie wants to slow McDonald down by chopping away at his legs.

and Shinnie takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Shinnie clobbers McDonald with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
McDonald tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Shinnie was well out of range. Poor timing from McDonald.
Shinnie looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

It looked like McDonald was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Shinnie.
Shinnie slips a jab from McDonald.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Shinnie.
McDonald lands a jab to the nose.
A combination from McDonald does no damage.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Shinnie might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, McDonald has got the better of the exchanges.
McDonald throws a hook to the side of Shinnie's head but Shinnie sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
McDonald tries to clinch up but Shinnie circles away and keeps his distance.
McDonald takes a swing at Shinnie's ribcage but misses.
Shinnie feints a counter leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

McDonald loads up on a big left hand. Shinnie felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - McDonald looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Shinnie can't hide his disappointment, as McDonald celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jim Bob McDonald!
