The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Buren tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Soszynski manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Soszynski pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A nice side step and Van Buren releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Van Buren throws out a powerful jab.
It looks like Krystian Soszynski has been cut.

Soszynski feints and then cracks Van Buren's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Van Buren down.

Soszynski has been working on his boxing with his coaches at ~T~ Troid - Gym in the buildup to the fight.

Soszynski throws a looping overhand right but Van Buren ducks down to avoid it.
Van Buren has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Van Buren displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Soszynski throws out the jab.
A countering left hand to the body from Van Buren misses.
Van Buren lands a left and a right that send Soszynski crashing to the mat, dazed. Van Buren thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Van Buren has closed the distance and engaged Soszynski in a clinch.
Oh Soszynski is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Van Buren's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Soszynski ducks into an uppercut from Van Buren and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!

Joost Van Buren spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
