The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cowboy misses with a few strikes there.
As Cowboy backs away, McGregor returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Cowboy with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling McGregor to score with a decent uppercut.

Cowboy doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
McGregor is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Cowboy takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Alex Cowboy has been cut.
McGregor scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Cowboy doesn't seem bothered though.

McGregor lands a big uppercut and Cowboy crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Cowboy looks OK. McGregor waves Cowboy back to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cowboy is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. McGregor Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Cowboy is out cold, face down on the mat!
