Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ace Rob (ranked 192 p4p, 24 weight class) and Sala Barbo (ranked 102 p4p, 16 weight class). Barbo has chosen Nissim as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbo takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Barbo punishes Rob's body with a nice straight punch.
Rob tries to bum rush Barbo with a series of wild strikes but Barbo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Barbo avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Rob works Barbo's body with a nice hook.
Rob fails with a takedown attempt.
We've been informed that Barbo has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Rob scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rob shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Barbo as he jumps to the side.
Ace Rob seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rob lands an overhand right.
Barbo works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Rob closes the distance and pushes Barbo back into the cage.
Rob looking to throw knees to the head but Barbo is blocking nicely.
Barbo lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Rob backwards.
Rob wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Barbo lands a right hand that snaps the head of Rob backwards.
Rob manages to break the clinch.
Sala Barbo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Rob moves into range and clinches up with Barbo.

Barbo swings wildly with an uppercut but Rob uses good head movement to avoid it.

Barbo appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Rob is trying hard to land a takedown here. Barbo sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Barbo takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Rob shoots in for a double leg but Barbo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Rob has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Rob there as he acknowledges the shot.
Rob is rocked!
Barbo ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Rob out cold! The fight is over!

A relieved looking Sala Barbo thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
