The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mfer moves away from the strike by Walker.
Mfer is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Walker.
Mfer tries to clinch but Walker is having none of it.
Walker throws a lazy right hand but Mfer sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Mfer moves out of range as Walker strikes.
Walker moves out of range of the strikes.
Walker closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Walker misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mfer.
Walker takes one on the button.
Schael Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mfer moves into range and clinches up with Walker.
Walker has had enough of the clinch but Mfer keeps him there for the moment.
Mfer lands with a right to the head.
Mfer blocks an uppercut.
A short body shot lands from Walker as the two fighters clinch.
Walker wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Mfer lands with a right to the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
With the fighters up against the ropes, Walker throws an elbow but misses.

Walker tries to land knees in the clinch but Mfer avoids the damage to the body.

Mfer scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Walker doesn't seem bothered though.

Mfer turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Mfer tries a head kick but it misses.

Walker looks to score with a jab to the body but Mfer is just out of range.
Walker slips under a jab.
Walker throws a shot from downtown. Mfer moves away and avoids it.
Mfer bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Mfer throws the left hand but Walker avoids the punch easily.
Walker throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Walker misses with a hook
and Mfer connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Walker uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mfer.
Mfer looks for the body kick but Walker saw that one coming.
A looping hook to the body misses from Walker. Mfer does a little dance to reset his feet.
Walker staying out of range there.
Mfer jabs at Walker's body.

Mfer lands a big head kick that sends Walker tumbling to the mat! Mfer takes a step backwards and waves Walker back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Walker is rocked!
Walker moves away from the strike by Mfer.
Walker is still on wobbly legs! Can Mfer finish him?

Mfer cracks Walker with a hook to the temple - Walker is on wobbly legs here! Mfer swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Walker falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Mfer wins by TKO!
