Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don Lemieux (ranked 21943 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vahan Karamyenyan (ranked 2259 p4p, 0 weight class). Karamyenyan has chosen Bonecrusher - Saw Theme Remix as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Vahan Karamyenyan will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lemieux throws a big shot that misses.
Karamyenyan throws a head kick that half lands.
Lemieux takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Karamyenyan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Karamyenyan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Karamyenyan pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Karamyenyan tries to throw a body punch but Lemieux avoids it by throwing Karamyenyan back against the cage.

Lemieux turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Lemieux manages to end up in side control.

Lemieux has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lemieux connects with a nice short shot to Karamyenyan's temple.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lemieux stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Karamyenyan swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
