The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Scarn clinches up against the cage.
Paunovic dodges an elbow strike from Scarn.
Scarn throws an elbow but it misses.
Scarn misses with a hook from the clinch.
A left hand lands to the body for Paunovic.
Paunovic blocks an elbow strike from Scarn.

Paunovic breaks from the clinch.
Paunovic scores with a nice body kick.
Paunovic misses with a wild combination.
Scarn misses with a right hand
and Paunovic counters with a three punch combo that has Scarn backing up. Scarn nods at Paunovic to acknowledge the strikes.
Paunovic avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Paunovic looks to land a body kick but Scarn moved away.
Paunovic throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Scarn sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Scarn needs to keep his hands up - Paunovic had a free shot at his head there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Paunovic throws a body shot but no joy.
Sloppy strikes from Paunovic. Those never looked like landing.
Paunovic throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

It looks like Michael Scarn has been cut.

Paunovic throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Scarn throws a jab but it's blocked by Paunovic.
Paunovic comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Paunovic tries to land a front kick but Scarn steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Scarn is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.

Scarn pushes Paunovic up against the cage in a clinch.
Scarn lands a shoulder strike.
With the fighters up against the cage, Scarn throws an elbow but misses.

Paunovic's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Scarn has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Scarn misses with a low kick.
Scarn moves out of range as Paunovic throws a body kick.
Scarn missing with a left hand there. Paunovic was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Paunovic throws out a loose jab but Scarn uses good head movement to avoid it.
Scarn avoids a kick to the body.
Michael Scarn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Scarn shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
A quick step to the side and Paunovic tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Scarn thows a left - swing and a miss!
Paunovic lands a nice hook to Scarn's body. Scarn takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

A left and a right from Paunovic both land. Nice combination.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Scarn throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Paunovic.

Paunovic lands a big right hand that sends Scarn crashing to the mat! Paunovic stays standing though and waves Scarn back to his feet!

Scarn is still on wobbly legs! Can Paunovic finish him?
Scarn uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Paunovic.
Paunovic fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Scarn manages to avoid it.
Scarn seems to have recovered his senses.
Look low, kick high! Paunovic uses the oldest trick in the book to send Scarn tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Paunovic is absolutely delighted - when Scarn wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
