The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akharraz tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
MacArthur Jnr lands a jab to Akharraz's midsection.
Akharraz showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from MacArthur Jnr.
Akharraz throws a jab but it's blocked by MacArthur Jnr.
MacArthur Jnr blocks a head kick by Akharraz.
Akharraz blocks a low kick nicely.
Osama Akharraz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Akharraz tries to clinch
and MacArthur Jnr counters with a straight right hand.

Akharraz moves into the clinch successfully.
MacArthur Jnr looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

MacArthur Jnr digs a right hand underneath Akharraz's ribcage. Akharraz let out a lung full of air as it connected.
MacArthur Jnr misses with a punch to the body.
MacArthur Jnr throws a head punch that misses.

MacArthur Jnr tries to work over Akharraz's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, MacArthur Jnr just misses with a elbow thrown towards Akharraz's brow.
Akharraz has had enough of the clinch but MacArthur Jnr keeps him there for the moment.

Akharraz pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Akharraz gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! MacArthur Jnr gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Robert MacArthur Jnr tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
