The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tsuruta throws a combination. Silva tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Tsuruta uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Silva.
Tsuruta looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Tsuruta rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Silva moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Silva misses with an uppercut
and Tsuruta counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Silva throws a leg kick but Tsuruta moved away.
Despite the aggression on Tsuruta's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
A lazy left from Silva finds it's target.
Silva fails with an attempt to clinch.
Tsuruta takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Nice defenses there by Silva.
Silva's corner calls for a 1-2. Silva obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Tsuruta blocks a low kick nicely.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Silva throws a sloppy head kick
and Tsuruta counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Silva throws a hook but Tsuruta avoids it easily.
Tsuruta takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Silva throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Tsuruta counters with a straight right hand.

Silva is rocked!
Tsuruta slips a jab and a cross from Silva.
Oh Silva is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Silva dodges the punch combination from Tsuruta.
Silva clobbers Tsuruta with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Tsuruta slips under a jab.
A countering left hand to the body from Tsuruta misses.
Silva seems to have got his legs back now.
Silva throws a hook to the side of Tsuruta's head but Tsuruta sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Silva tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Tsuruta manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Tsuruta misses with a hook.
Tsuruta moves out of range of the body kick from Silva.
Silva throws an off balance right hand
and Tsuruta counters with a crisp right that sends Silva to the canvas! Tsuruta follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
