The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alopodis doesn't manage to clinch there - Lewis circles away.
Lewis tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Alopodis paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lewis shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Alopodis wants to counter the offense by Lewis and move into the clinch position.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lewis looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Alopodis avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lewis will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Alopodis appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.

Alopodis throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lewis was covering up waiting for the punch and Alopodis finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Lewis doesn't manage to clinch there - Alopodis circles away.

Lewis closes the distance and clinches up with Alopodis, looking for a takedown. Lewis pushes Alopodis against the cage but Alopodis circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
