Charles has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Rubens Charles is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

McGregor lunges at Charles with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Charles's hand.

Charles drops his hands momentarily and McGregor takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
McGregor looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
McGregor connects with the punch.

Charles misses with a right hand
and McGregor makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Charles looks winded!
The crowd cheers as McGregor lands an impressive looking overhand right. Charles doesn't seem phased though.

McGregor cracks Charles with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Charles is still on wobbly legs! Can McGregor finish him?
McGregor lands a right hook to the body.
Charles seems to have recovered his senses.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McGregor cracks Charles with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Charles is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Charles is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Charles could not beat the count!
