Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lolipo Slider (ranked 48 p4p, 9 weight class) and Darth Sidious (ranked 141 p4p, 21 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Slider misses the target.
Sidious follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Slider misses with a shot to the body
letting Sidious counter with a right hand.
Slider misses with a hook.
Slider ducks under a wild hook from Sidious.
Slider tries to counter by clinching up but Sidious breaks away and moves out of range.
Slider swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Sidious thinks about the counter body kick.
A solid leg kick lands there for Slider.
Slider throws a front kick aimed at Sidious's knee but Sidious avoids it well.
Slider misses with a lunging right hand
and Sidious counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Slider moves out of range as Sidious throws a body kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Slider slips under a jab from Sidious.
A solid leg kick lands there for Slider.
Sidious throws a lazy body kick
and Sidious takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Sidious cracks Slider with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Slider lands with an uppercut that bounces Sidious off the cage and back into range.
Sidious staying out of range there.
Slider blocks a jab.
Sidious uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Slider.
Sidious looks for the body kick but Slider saw that one coming.
Sidious throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Slider misses the body punch
and Sidious counters with a left to the body.
Slider scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Sidious throws the left hand but Slider avoids the punch easily.
Slider throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sidious.
Slider uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sidious.

Sidious jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
It looks like Lolipo Slider has been cut.
Sidious misses with a body shot.
Slider keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sidious throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Sidious blocks a leg kick.
Slider ducks under a wild hook from Sidious.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A clash of legs there as Sidious blocks the low kick.
Sidious fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Slider will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Slider fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sidious let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Sidious circles away from the clinch attempt.

Sidious thows a body kick. Slider tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Sidious scores with a spinning back kick!
Slider is breathing heavily.
Sidious misses with a straight left.
Sidious throws the kick towards the body but Slider avoids it.
Slider jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Sidious has closed the distance and engaged Slider in a clinch.
Slider avoids a wild elbow strike from Sidious.
Sidious is working Slider over against the cage.
Sidious cracks Slider with a nice body shot.
Slider blocks a body shot from Sidious.
Sidious escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Both fighters circling a little - Sidious finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Jab from Sidious.
Slider shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sidious throws the kick towards the body but Slider avoids it.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sidious throws a body shot but no joy.
Sidious on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
A low kick from Slider misses
and Sidious counters with a straight right hand.
Slider rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Sidious counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Slider thinking.
Sidious feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Slider sprawling to the canvas! Slider rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Sidious finish him?!
Slider is rocked!
Sidious lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Slider falls backwards - clearly groggy! Sidious dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Darth Sidious!
