Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roar Dinosuar Jr (ranked 5637 p4p, 187 weight class) and Hugues Dupont (ranked 1572 p4p, 75 weight class). Dinosuar Jr has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Roar Dinosuar Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Hugues Dupont!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dinosuar Jr closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dupont circles away.
Dinosuar Jr misses with a takedown attempt - Dupont sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Dupont changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Dupont shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Dinosuar Jr could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Dupont trying to control the action but Dinosuar Jr is working from the bottom.
Dupont is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Dupont passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Dinosuar Jr!
Dinosuar Jr wants to control but Dupont is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dupont has control of Dinosuar Jr's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Dinosuar Jr regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Dupont wants to control the pace but Dinosuar Jr is squirming around nicely.
Dupont seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Dinosuar Jr is holding on tight.
Dinosuar Jr tries to reverse the position but Dupont maintains control.

Dinosuar Jr is breathing heavily.

Dupont can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Dinosuar Jr is looking to escape.
Dupont has hold of Dinosuar Jr's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Dinosuar Jr manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Dupont is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Dinosuar Jr is in real trouble.
Dinosuar Jr is in bad spot here.
Dupont is working for a rear naked choke. Dinosuar Jr is not defending it well and Dupont has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Dinosuar Jr refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Dinosuar Jr's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Hugues Dupont!
