The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitch misses with a shot to the body
and Henderson Jr counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Fitch throws a lazy uppercut
and Henderson Jr makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Henderson Jr shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fitch but Fitch pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Fitch darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fitch jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Henderson Jr is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Henderson Jr and Fitch has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Fitch goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Henderson Jr has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Fitch but great work by Henderson Jr.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fitch can do anything to dispel that myth.

Henderson Jr stands up and beckons Fitch to his feet.
Henderson Jr looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fitch is fending him off so far but Henderson Jr persists. Nope, Fitch circles away and we're back to standing.

Fitch changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Henderson Jr looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Fitch tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fitch has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Henderson Jr throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.

Fitch is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Henderson Jr is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Fitch tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Fitch is working to tighten his grip on Henderson Jr's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Henderson Jr has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Fitch is really squeezing tight and eventually Henderson Jr passes out! Fitch breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
